Dramatically Affect Skin Wrinkling and Skin Cancer
Common Beliefs about Sunscreen Create False Sense of Security
Sunscreens containing SPF do not block the full UVA/UVB/UVC spectrum. Regardless of their “protection factor,” damaging ultraviolet rays can still penetrate the skin and cause cellular damage contributing to skin wrinkling and skin cancer.
Current SPF products and science do nothing to prevent free radicals at the cellular level nor do they have any function in protecting or building the immune system. Therefore, you are not receiving protection against the sun’s harmful rays.
Current Sunscreens Pose a Number of Health Problems
Because chemical sunscreens start to decompose in the presence of UV rays and lose effectiveness, they must be applied continuously, but they still leave skin vulnerable to damage. Studies at all levels have proven chemical sunscreens penetrate the skin, get into the bloodstream and are harmful to the body. The breakdown of chemical sunscreens forms additional harmful chemicals. Non-chemical sunscreens are not stable, are reactive and contribute to the formation of free radicals.
A non-chemical sunblock or sunscreen should still be used, but alone it is not complete protection. It is critical to build the immune system in order to better protect the skin.
What Causes Skin Wrinkling and Cancer?
Skin wrinkling and cancer can be caused when the body’s immune system has been compromised and neglected over the years due to diet, chemicals, environment and numerous skin care products which cause oxidation and free radicals to form on the skin. Exactly what you thought you were doing to protect your skin may be what is causing the problems of wrinkling and cancer in the long run. UV rays react chemically on the skin to form free radicals that damage skin and lead to wrinkling and skin cancer, the most common cancer in the United States.
According to a May 27, 2004 article in the Chicago Tribune, “Doctors diagnose more than 1.5 million cases of skin cancer every year.”
What is a Free Radical?
noun. An atom or group of atoms that has at least one unpaired electron and is therefore unstable and highly reactive.
In animal tissues, free radicals can damage cells and are believed to accelerate the progression of cancer. They can be produced by natural biological processes or introduced from the outside (such as tobacco, smoke, toxins or pollutants) and can damage cells, proteins and DNA by altering their chemical structure.
Free radicals generate wild chain reactions and impair skin cells through a process called oxidation, comparable to rusting. The cells are punctured then torn apart, resulting in skin wrinkling and eventually skin cancer.
The May 2004 International Journal of Dermatology reports, “Free radicals are involved with all steps of carcinogenesis [of the skin]. These findings provide a promising rationale for the development of powerful new antioxidant strategies in the prevention and therapy of skin care.”

How the Body Tries to Protect Itself
When the immune system in the skin cells is healthy, it creates Melanin to protect the delicate life inside the cell. The human body needs sun to produce protective Melanin. Without the sun the immune system is weakened and left unprotected. Weak immune systems leave the DNA of the cell susceptible to damage from sun and other factors.
How Science Makes Beauty
B & P Company has joined with the most sought after experts in the areas of product development and skin cancer research for one very specific purpose – to create the first products that boost the immunity of the skin. Frownies Skin Treatment line unites science and beauty in its advanced product systems containing the newest technology to help prevent and treat skin wrinkling and skin cancer. Water-soluble Melanin, developed by Yale School of Medicine researcher Dr. John Pawelek, and its new product delivery system are synergistically combined with a biologically active Vitamin E Phospholipid complex and 17 amino acids to effectively help and improve skin damage and wrinkling.
In his extensive research, Dr. Pawelek said, “Our studies…showed that Melanin gave excellent protection from ultraviolet (UV) light, probably through a combination of its ability to absorb UV and its outstanding free radical scavenger abilities, both being characteristics of natural Melanin.”
Melanin derived from the aloin part of the aloe vera plant is able to protect like the body’s own Melanin. It is well-recognized by dermatologists that the more natural Melanin in one’s skin, the less sun damage one accrues, such as wrinkling, Melanoma, and basal and squamous cell cancers. The natural state of the Melanin and its delivery system have the same pH as the skin, and maximize the effective free radical scavenger properties.
Most Powerful Anti-Oxidants Known to Science
Science has identified many anti-oxidants, but none as powerful as Melanin and biologically active, natural Vitamin E complex. Melanin penetrates the various cell layers helping to protect the delicate DNA. Molecular Matrix Vitamin E Phospholipid complex has intact all its natural properties to build and protect the immune system in the skin and fight free radicals that damage the cells.
All other Vitamin E products are acetates, a synthetic chemical product, and therefore cannot biologically interact with the cell and are ineffective in fighting free radicals and building the immune system. Numerous studies at prestigious institutions have shown that synthetic Vitamin E is not beneficial and may actually cause harm.
